What if networking wasn't left to chance?

You go to networking events to move something forward. Most nights you walk into a room, have a handful of random conversations, trade contact info with anybody and everybody — and hope you happened to meet the right person. This one is different. The Black Book NYC is a business speed networking mixer built to help you meet more people, have better conversations and leave knowing exactly who you should follow up with.

Registration

Registration opens after September 12, 2026. Join the email list now and you'll be first in line for early bird tickets.

How your night works

You won't be left to work the room alone

  1. 01

    Complete your confidential profile

Before the event you tell us who you are, what you're building and what you're looking for.

  2. 02

Meet more people through speed networking

Structured rounds and competitive games raise both the quality and the number of conversations you can have in one night.

  3. 03

Get matched with people you should meet

We use attendee profiles to curate the introductions worth making.

  4. 04

    Keep the conversation moving

Our icebreakers carry new conversations past the same old "so, what do you do?"

  5. 05

Become part of The Black Book

A private directory, so the chance to make the right connection doesn't end when the night does.

The agenda

Five hours, three movements

5:00 – 6:00 PM

Happy hour + registration

Check in, grab appetizers, take pictures, reconnect with familiar faces and start meeting the room. Come early — your profile helps us prepare the matchmaking.

6:00 – 8:00 PM

Business matchmaking games

Speed networking, curated introductions, icebreakers and real business conversation. Who are you, what are you building, what are you looking for, what can you offer — and should we keep talking? When you meet someone worth knowing, schedule the follow-up while you're standing there.

8:00 – 10:00 PM

Network & chill

The structure ends, the relationships don't. Music, drinks, culture and open networking — reconnect, make the introduction you promised somebody, and enjoy yourself.

Who should be in the room

You, if you're looking for

  • New clients and customers
  • Referral partners
  • Strategic business relationships
  • Investors or investment opportunities
  • Real estate connections
  • Professional resources
  • Collaborators
  • Mentors and advisors
  • Community partnerships

  • New ideas and opportunities
  • A stronger circle of ambitious people

Professional, entrepreneur, investor, executive or community leader — this is about culture, community, business development and economic empowerment, in a room where you can still relax and have fun. You don't have to walk in knowing everybody. You just have to walk in ready to meet somebody.

One great connection can change the way you finish 2026 and enter 2027. Get in the room.
